Tea Farms is A Thought and A Commitment to bring the finest teas from the valleys of Assam, the Himalayan slopes of Darjeeling and the foothills of the Himalayas called Dooars to chai lovers in the country and across the globe. The company’s sole endeavour is to deliver the authentic and unblended Indian beverage to every tea loving household. 

 

The founder was blessed to be born and raised in North-East India which gave him an opportunity to travel extensively across tea gardens. He experienced the tea making process right from childhood in the gardens of Assam and Dooars by virtue of his family being in related business. A tea lover himself, the founder was always troubled to see people largely being deprived of premium, unadulterated tea.

 

Team Farms was born in November, 2020 to bridge the gap between tea gardens and customers, essentially eliminating the mid layer where adulteration often takes places. Significantly, the company will eliminate the time spent in procuring tea though auctioning that can run up to weeks by directly buying it from the gardens. The company operates from Siliguri, a small but bustling town surrounded by over 250 tea gardens that allows it to promptly transport teas from the gardens within a day or two of harvesting to keep the freshness intact. 

 

Soon, we plan to bring fresh teas from emerging plantation hubs in Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya.
